Students Provide Free Tax Assistance 

For more than a decade, University of La Verne accounting students have provided free tax services to eligible taxpayers through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Sage Gathering Ceremony Honors Traditional Native Heritage

Around two times a year, between the spring and fall months, Tribal Elder Trevor Thomsen leads students, faculty, staff, and interested community members through a sage gathering and blessing experience where guests may leave with their own bundle of sage and a renewed understanding of the medicinal plant.
